Photography with Passion
The beginning
I was a teenager and immensely proud when a friend of my family gave me a Kodak Instamatic 100 camera. The camera was easy to use: film cassettes, prints and flash packs were affordable making it a good introduction to the worl of photography. This camera system became my first constant companion on trips and journeys.
A short trip to Paris years later led to the decision of purchasing a single lens reflex camera. The 9xm x 9cm Kodak prints were good to show off the beautiful moments and people of such a well loved city. But I knew I could do better with more professional equipment!
So, I decided to buy an SLR camera – a Minolta XE-1, which combined innovative camera technology with a particularly good price-performance ratio- just what I needed.
Since then…
A camera is always with me- on walks, excursions, trips, or events. It is my constant companion as I capture the uniqueness and the beauty of irretrievable moments drawn by light, color and shadow.
The photo lab in the computer
Digital camera technology and editing programs such as Photoshop etc., allow me to give additional expression to my photography. I am inspired by painters of the late Gothic and Renaissance eras and the Impressionists, who knew how to capture the light with its moods in scenes in a unique way. Desktop publishing help me to give my photos similarly intense views.
